225 South 6th Street is….pink?

Here is an odd discovery.  For the last several hours, 225 South 6th Street a.k.a. Capella Tower has been glowing pink.  Normal, the crown on top of the building glows a vibrant cool white.  The only time I’ve seen this color is when the HID lights are warming up.  Is this intentional?

I noticed that too! I tried to google it to find out why and came across this. I think it’s gorgeous. It is breast cancer awareness month. Maybe it is related.

  2. The breast cancer awareness was as best as I could come up with as well, but I haven’t found a better explanation.

We’ll go with that for now because the alternative is an electrical problem :)

I would say it’s most likely Breast Cancer Awareness.

I’m sure it’s breast cancer awareness. The only thing is, it’s breast cancer awareness month and it wasn’t pink at the beginning of the month.

I hope it’s pink again tonight, I didn’t have my camera with me last night – I’ll have to do some shots over 35W with it pink.

  5. Looks like it is pink again tonight.
