I was researching a few things for my previous blog post.  Let me rephrase that, I was trying to break back in to our YouTube channel since I had long since forgotten the password and decided to google my old company.  I found Josh Gille’s portfolio online and the work he did for us.  It turned out great and out logo was featured in Logo Lounge.

The logo idea came from Robert Rudelius and I were at a whiteboard sketching out a few designs, capturing them with a camera phone, and sending them to the designer.  (The Metadata for the original sketch below show it was taken at Friday, December 21, 2007).  The original version was a knockoff of the old Engadget logo
